By car to Spital am Pyhrn

Flexibility in the Pyhrn-Priel vacation region

The Wurzeralm is located in the south-west of the Upper Austrian municipality of Spital am Pyhrn. This means that the skiing and hiking area is also very close to the most important north-south axis, the A9. Those coming from the south pay the toll through the Bosruck Tunnel in addition to the vignette. No additional toll is due from the north.

FromVienna, the best way to reach the Wurzeralm is via the A1 Westautobahn in the direction of Salzburg.

Coming from the west , take the A8 to Salzburg and continue on the Westautobahn A1 towards Linz.

From Passau, follow the A8 to Wels Nord.

Whichever route you take: At the Voralpenkreuz junction, change to the A9 towards Graz and follow this until the Spital/Pyhrn exit to the right as far as the Wurzeralm.

By e-car to the piste:

There is no e-charging station directly at the ski area. However, there is a charging station in the village center of Spital am Pyhrn.
There is a public transport connection from the village center to the ski area - timetable is available in the municipality.
In Hinterstoder there is an e-charging station directly at the valley station of the new 10er Hössbahn.

Furthermore, the charging station in Klaus with two 50 KW fast charging stations on the way to and from the ski area offers a good alternative.
